Student Leadership Programme
The AJAC Student Leadership Programme aims to provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills through a variety of inspiring, challenging and valued leadership roles which impact positively on learning, teaching and well-being for both students and staff at Ajman Academy.
A message from our Student Leadership Coordinator, Ms Carolina Fuentes:
‘Being a leader is not about being perfect or being the best. It’s not about showing how many changes you can make or responsibilities you can handle. Leadership is about helping the people around you succeed.
Ajman Academy Student Leaders encourage peers to shine, and they empower others to grow’.

2018-19 Head Girl and Head Boy
Head Girl: Emaan Sayeda Iftikhar
“World-leading, learning for all” is an excellent way of teaching everyone how to live their practical lives, and face the challenges of the world. You can learn new languages, new skills and a lot more. I am Syeda Emaan Iftikhar, Head Girl for the year 2018-2019, and I feel exceptionally honoured. I think the Head Girl and Head Boy are the faces of the school, so it is essential for us to be organised and clear on our objectives.
I believe that anything can be achieved with love, kindness, hard work and that nothing is impossible. The aim is to create a comfortable and yet enjoyable environment for learning. I am accountable for the coordination of the rest of the leadership team and the entire school’s discipline and behaviour.
I am the ambassador of the school, and I represent the school at events. I aim to be a great role model for all other students in the school. I want to mentor my young fellows as much as best as I can. I want to make sure none of the students is struggling academically. I will organise fun activities and events during the school year. I want to achieve a great year of learning and prove that choosing me as the Head Girl was a great decision.
